TEACHERS FEEDBACK

As a computer teacher as well as interactive whiteboard trainer and developer of lessons for use on interactive whiteboards, I constantly make use of 2Simple programs. When using them on the interactive boards the whole class remains totally engaged and focused on the lesson. From handwriting and spelling exercises using 2Handwrite, to doing numeracy with Maths City 1 and 2, to literacy and animation with 2Create A Superstory, and composing music with Music Toolkit, the possibilities are endless. The helpful videos make them extremely user-friendly, and their simple, colourful graphics make them visually stimulating. Teachers love them for the ease of lesson preparation as well as lesson presentation; and children love them for the fun yet challenging activities they can do with them on the interactive boards. While subject content is being covered computer skills are being seamlessly integrated into the lesson. I have never found any programs anywhere else that are even vaguely comparable.

We at Blouberg Ridge Primary use the 2Simple Software. We use 2Type in Grade 1-3. The program is very good for reinforcing good typing habits. It is very encouraging to watch Grade 2 pupils typing using both hands. We do typing practice using mostly the Teaching keys section of 2Type but the pupils really enjoy 2Pop which becomes a fun game .

We use 2Simple Touch Typing as from Grade 1. As a matter of fact, the grade ones practically only do this programme in their first year of schooling. Most of them call this programme “HOME ROW KEYS” and they think it is a game! Little do they know they are learning to type.

2Simple were delighted to have two programs selected as finalists for the 2010 BETT Awards. 2Simple Online Tools (Package A) and 2Do It Yourself were finalists within the category of "Tools for Teaching and Learning".			BETT Award 2009 for ICT Company of the Year The panel for this prestigious award was looking for an organisation of any type and size that providing educational establishments with high-quality, safe ICT products or services appropriate to their everyday teaching and learning needs. We are absolutely thrilled to be the company awarded with this title! The judges comments were: “2Simple is a company that responds totally to the needs of schools and children.
